T HEREBY apply for a lease of land ■*• for agricultural purposes, situate at and being on Run 212, and adjoining the north boundary of section 1, block VI., Greenfield District, the property of Joseph Clark, and comprising 640 acres or thereabouts, in accordance with the Agricultural Lease Regulations of the Bth December, 1871, made under the Goldfields Acts Amendment Act, 1867, 1868, 1869, and the Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872. I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a Water Race for industrial purposes, commencing at a point at Benger Creek, about half a mile above the Gorge, and terminating at the lower end of Moa Flat, opposite Brazil's hotel. The length of such Race is 3 miles, or thereabouts, and its intended course is about easterly.
