Legal proceedings will be taken against persons depasturing stock within the boundaries of the Goldfields Commonage without being duly licensed. COMMENCING at the Waitahuna River VJ at the south-western boundary of the Waitahuna Goldfield, and from thence to Trig. M ; from Trig. Mm a direct line to the Havelo'ck and Molyneux roads ; from thence down the said road to Mount Stuart saddle ; from thence to the head of Legg's Gully ; from thence down said gully to Manuka Creek ; from thence along the main road to the south-eastern boundary of the said goldfield ; from thence to Nuggety G\«lly ; from thence to Long Gully ; froni thence to the junction of the Baid gully and the Waitahnna river ; thence up the said river to German Creek ; thence up said creek to Clark's Creek ; from thence up the main ! road to the watershed of the Tuapeka J and Waitahuna districts ; from thence to Breakneck ; from thence a'ong the leading ridge to Oxenbould's ; from thence along Smith's fence back to the starting point. ' Lord Paisley" was bred by John Barr, Esq., Clutha, and is a beautiful black, rising 7 years old, and stands 16 hands 2 inches high. , ,liis aire,~f iprd Paißley, -was imported from Scotland by Robert Miller, Esq ; Taieri, in 1864. . J)am, the mare Blanch, imported by David Nesbitt, Esq., from Tasmania, who took the first prizes at several society's shows, viz., Dunedin, Taieri, Tokomairiro,' and Clutha, for the best mare of /symmetry in the yards. Lord Paisley gained the first prize at the Clntha Booiety's Show in 1868, and the first at Tokomairiro Show the same year, for the be^t three-year-old entire oolt at his age. He also obtained the silver medal at the Tokomairiro -tihow in 1869 for the best colonial horse in the yard ; and has proved himself a sure foal-getter.
