SIR, — We, the undersigned Ratepayers, beg respectfully to request that you will allow yourself to be nominated as a Candidate to represent the Middle Ward in the Town Council, feeling assured from the interest you have always displayed in anything having for its object the welfare of the district, and from your well known business habits, you are well fitted in every respect to occupy the position.
