Junior entrance fee, 2s. 6d. Open to all competitors. Teams to start at 9 a.m. sharp. Entries to be left with the Secretary, at Coghill's Bridge Hotel, on Wednesday, July ICth, by 7 p.m., or on the morning of the match by paying double entrance fee. Depth of Furrow. 6 inches. No false cut allowed. Each team to plough one- third of an acre. Time allowed, 5 houra. Half hour to dinner. Bullock Teams half hour extra. Any other regulations will be read on the ground. I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a Head Water Race for Flour Mill purposes, commencing at a point about one half-mile above the Gorge of the Benger Creek and terminating at the lower end of Moa Flat, opposite Mr. Brazil's Hotel. The length of such Race is 3 miles, or thereabouts ; and its intended course is east. The main depth and breadth of said Race is 3 feet, and it is capable of carrying 4 sluice heads of water. QTRAYED from Breakneck or Waita(O huna Road, one white Cow, branded L in circle and DM underneath, both on left rump; a red and white Cow, branded as above; a red and white Heifer, branded DM on left rump; one white and one red Heifer, branded DM on left rump : all supposed to have calves at foot.
