This Society has been formed by an alteration of the Constitution cf the Second New Zealand Building and Mutual Investment Society, 1804. Shares iv Class A are of the amount of twenty-five pounds each, the principal being paid up in one sum. On these half-yearly dividends are paid at the rate of nine percent, per annum, "and an annual bonus out of the surplus profits. They may be withdrawn ut any time on three months' nofico, und form the most eligible investment for surplus funds now to be found in the money market. Shares in Class B are of twenty-five poundeach, and will be realised ufter seventy-live monthly payments of five shillings each have been made. The holders of them will also be entitled to a bonus on realisation, equal to a proportionate share of the surplus profits of t lie Society during the period over which the monthly payments have run Tim moneys of the First and Second Series are advanced to Shaivhol'Wi? on mortgage of freehold or li aschohl propei ties, or upon Sh.ires in the Society wholly or in part, pnid np. The amounts available for advance are sold by auction at the monthly meetings to the highest bidder, who, from the date of the advance, pays a redemption fee of 10a. per month for each L6O Share advanced until the termination of the Series. Moneys of the Permanent Series are lent on similar securities, repayable by monthly instalments extending over a fixed number of years.
