All competitors to be subscribers to the fund of not less than 305., excapt when one owner enters two teams — the entry of the second team will be ss. Juniors, ss. Open to all bonafide residents north of the Waitahuna River. Teams to be on the ground by 9.30 a.m. Entries to bo left with the ecretary, at his office, Lawrence, on or before 7 p.m. ! on Wednesday, the 2nd July, or on the morning of the match by paying double entrance fee. • ! Depth of furrow, six inches. Ploughmen to find their own width. Each team to plough one-third of an acre. Time allowed, 5 hours. Each Ploughman to find his own poles, and no assistance allowed after the poles are set ; otherwise disqualified.
