Telegraphic Despatches.

(From a Correspondent.) [The following was published by us as an Ex*ra yesterday.] Dunedin, June 18. Mr. Gillies held a monster meeting in the Drill Shed, Dunedin, last evening. Present from 1500 to 2000 persons. Mr. Gillies rivoted the attention of tha meeting throughout, and carried tho sympathies of the people to an astounding degree. His land policy was enthusiastically cheered ; a vote of confidence in him was carried by a very largo majority — in fact, almost unanimously. His supporters are in great spirits, believing he will win the day. (From Another Correspondent.) Mr. Gillies' meeting last night in Dunedin was a complete failure.
