SWITZERS MAIL COACH.

(To the Editor.) Sir, — Your Switzers correspondent after ruminating for some considerable time over a. few observations of mine regarding the coach, which appeared in one of } T our former issues, hns at last thought lit to awaken out of his slumbers and represent to your readers some pictures, which he might have seen in his dreams, for as such his btatements must appear, so far as regards the amount of vo'fieity which they possess. The unfortunate man who happened to be in the coach when it broke down, arrived at his destination a little after 8 o'clock p.m. — at the same timo as II. M. royal mails ; and this, certainly to me, does not appear to be a public grievance demanding the abilities and remarkably clearsightedness of so clever an agitator for the public, good as your correspondent seems to be. His talent for agitation, however, I am sorry to say, has taken a wrong turn. He has harnessed his horse with the head towards the cart. Beforo speaking about the apology of a coach he ought to talk about the very bad apology of a road which the Swjtzers coach h.fts to travel. I wonder that your correspondent with eagel-flight of unchecked progress, does not suggest one of the road-steamers as the most appropriate way of communication with Switzers ; or still better, a good sized mail-balloon between Lawrence and Switzors. The latter would decidedly be the most appropriate, as it might tend 1o immortalise the name of that gentleman both as a journalist and engineer. — 1 am, &c, A Switzeks Co-respondent.
