The holders of mining lease section 24, block 19, T«apeka East (known as Trayes' lease), situate on the line of the tunnel, have transferred their interest in the lease to the Company, and have agreed to take up 500 shares. Mr. Gilbert Clark has, also conceded to the Company, on very liberal terms,, the sole right to mine upon hia freehold, which adjoins Traycs' lease. The Gabriels Gully Quartz Mining Co., Registered, have agreed to pay au annual rental of the portion of the tunnel used by them of 20 per cent, of the cost of that portion t or a proportionate rental if used conjointly . with other companies, and take 1000: shares in the Company. It is proposed to sell 3000 Shares, the Company retaining 1500 for future disposal. 2500 shares have already been applied for.
