Horses to be the bona fide property of residents in the district for at least 3 months previous to the 13th March, 1873, and residing within 10 miles of Switzers Post Office. Nomination, £1 ; acceptance, 10s. HURRY SCURRY HACK RACE of 5 boy». Mile heats. Entrance, 10s. RULES AND. REGULATIONS. Mares and .geldings allowed 31bs. All disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by the Stewards, or whoever they "may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the programme shall be final. No person shall be allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in this programme (post entry races exempted), unless the - latter be qualified as the bona fide pro- ■ perty of a subscriber to the race fund of not less than two guineas. Entries to be received by the Secretary, at the Crown Hotel, Switzers, not later than 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 12th March. Entrance money, enclosed with name, age, and pedigree (if any) of the horse, and name of owner and colors of the rider. Any Jcftkey riding except in the Colors entered, will be fined £2. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakea, for expenses^ Horses walking ovetj wHI receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. The Otago Jockey Olub rules will be strictly enforced.
