HURDLE RAO3, of 15 aovs. Open to all horses. Distance. 2 miles ; over 8 flights of hurdles ; weight for age ; entrance, 30s. COXSOLVTION HANDICAP, of 10 soys. For all beaten horses. Distance, one mile and a half : entrance, one guinea. HACK RACE, of 10 soys. One mile heat 3. Confined to horses being the j bona fide property of the person entering same at least one month prior to the 24ih January, 1873, and residing within fifteen miles of Tapanui. No weight uuder 10 stone. Entrance, 20s. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Mares and geldings allowed 31bs. All disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whoever they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the programme shall be final. No person shall be allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in this Programme (post entry races-exce'pted) unleso the latter be qualified as the bona fide property of a subscriber to the Race Fund of not less than two guineas. Fntriea to be received by tho Socrotavy up to nine p.m. on Thursday, 23rd Jannary. Entrance money, enclosed "with name, acre, and pedigree (if any) of the horse, and name of owner and colors of rider. Any Jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined £2. Five per cent, will be deducted from he gross amount of all stakes, .^or expenses. Three homos to n.tart or no race. Parties entering protests will require to deposit one guinea.
