All disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing? shall be decided by the Stewards, or whoever they may appoint. Tlieir decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the programme shall bo final. No person shall be allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in this Programme (post entry races excepted) unless- the latter be qualified as the bona fide property of a subscriber to the Eace Fund of not less than two guineas. Entries to be received by tbe Secretary, at his office, Peel-street, Lawrence, up to nine p.m. on Wednesday, 2-lth January. Entrance money, enclosed with name, age, and pedigree (if any) of the horpe, and name of owner and colours of the rider. Any Jockoy riding except in the colours entered will be fined £2-. Five percent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes, for expenses. Horses, walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. The Tuapeka Jockey Club Kules will be strictly enforced. Parties entering protests wil! require to deposit one guinea. If protest should be sustained, the guinea to be returned. WM.
