Lancaster's, Beaumont, weekly. There will be an Accommodation Paddock at Orooksfcon Hotel, Beaumont, for mures, at one shilling per week during the season for each mare. All care taken, but no responsibility. Lord Paisley was bred by John Barr, Esq., Clutha, and is a beauuful black, rising six years old, and stands 16 hands 2 inches high. His sire, Lord Paisley, was imported by R. Miller, Esq., Taieri, 1864. Dam, the mare Blandi, imported by David Wishart, Esq., from Tasmania, took the first prizes at sevtral society shows, viz. , Dunedin, Taieri, T>komairiro, and Clutha. for the best mai'e o symmetry in the yards. Lord Paislej'gained the tirst prize at the Clutha Society Show, in 1868, and the first at Tokomairro the same year, for the best three year old entire colt at his age. He also obained the silver medal at TokomairiroShov, in 1869, for the best colonial hoise in the yard, and has proved himself a suref<al-getter. JAMES WRIGHT, Proprietor. . _ - Entire jV*V^ Horse YOUNG GLASGOW GEORDY WILL serve a limited number of Mares this Season, at Tubman's Farm Moa Flat, and will travel surrounding Districts. Young Glasgow Geordy is 3 years old, stands 16 hands 3in. high, is a bright bay, with black points, has a beautiful fiat bone, and is of immense strength. He is out of the imported Clydesdale mare Young Pride, imported from Tasmania, the property of Philip Mylrea, Esq. Glasgow Geordie, his sire, was bred by Mr. Andrew Warnock, Bearyards, Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, out of his prize mare Maggie, whose stock have all been prize-taker 3at cattle shows in and around Glasgow, and have all sold at high prices. His sire was the well-known horse Champion, who was bred by Mr. Fleming, Auchenbowie, Kilmacombe, out of a celebrated prize mare. He gained prizes as a colt at almost every show in Lanarkshire. When four years old he gained the first prize of £40 and a silver medal at Glasgow, where 28 horses competed , when five years old he gained the firai prize of £40 and a medal at Gatehouse, O'Fleet ; also the same year he gained the tirst prize of £30 at the Highland Society's Show, Dumfries ; when six years old he gained the first prize of £40 and medal at Gatehouse, O^'Fleet; when seven years old he gained the first prize of £40 at Glasgow ; and same year he gained the medium gold medal at the Highland Society's Show at Kelso, being then outlawed from other than extra stock ; also, first prize of £50 at Carlisle, and second at the Great International Exhibition, London, in the year 1862 ; thus leaving him to be descended from the best blood in the kingdom. Glasgow Geordy, as a colt, gained prizes at the following Shows : — Maryhill, Kirkintulloch, Bishopbriggs, and Johnstown J and since landing in Otago, first prize at Tokoinairiro, Taieri, and Dunedin. Terms, £3 10s. ; Groom's Fed, ss. A paddock of one huudred acres provided for the convenience of mares. Every care taken, without responsibility.
