YOUNG WALLACE TTTILL Travel this Season between YY Switzers and Tapanui. Young Wallace is a dark dapple bay, stands 16^ hands high, is six years old, and is by the imported horse Sir William Wallace, out of a pure-bred Clydesdale mare. Young Wallace has proved himself a sure foal getter ; and his stock in the I Tuapeka district are very promising. Tekms, £3, payable at the end of the Season ; Groom's Fee, ss. to be paid at first service. All Fees to be paid on the Ist February, 1873, or £1 extra will be charged after that date. Clydes- Stallion YOUNG EMPEROR WILL Travel in the Waitahuna and Tuapeka Districts. Young Emperor is by Emperor, out of an imported Clydesdale mare, the property of James Patterson, Esq., M.L.C., Lovell's Flat. He is a bright dapple j hay, rising five years old, IG§ hands [ high, is perfectly quiet, has fine action, superior bone, and great muscular power ; and took the first prize at the Tokomairiro Show as a yearling. Emperor, the sire of Young Emperor, is out of Nancy, bred by Alexander Findlay, Esq., Sandyhills, near Glasgow. JSijincy was got by t^ie celebrated Gar vary Horse, and her~da"m by Scotsman, the property of James Kirkwoods, Kilmaurs. Nancy was first showed as a three year ©Id., and got first prize at Hamilton, first ""at Bailleston, second at Glasgow, and second at Kilbride. She was next shown as a brood mare at Glasgow and Kilbride, where she received similar honors. His sire is the well known imported horse Napoleon, whose Stock is not excelled in the province. Emperor is of great strength, and compactly built. He has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and his Stock is of a superior description. Emperor was shown at Dunedin when a two-year-old, when he received second prize as the best horse of any age, his sire being first ; and first prize for the best two-year-old. He ib,as also been shown at Oatnaru and West Taieri, and each time a successful competitor. Terms, L 3; Groomag©i ss.
