Distance, 1 mile ; entrance, 7s. 6d. EULES AND REGULATIONS. I. The Nomination for the Mount Benger Handicap and Publicans' Handicap to be sent to the Secretary before 8 p.m. on Mondaj, 23rd December. Acceptances on the night of general entry. 11. No persoD allowed to run or enter a horse unless a subscriber of £1 Is. to the Eace Fund. Post entry races excepted. 111. No person allowed to run or enter a horse for the Maiden Plate, Trotting Eace, Hack Eace, Ladies' Purse, Handicap Hurdle Eace, or Selling Race unless such horse be the bonajide property of a resident within 20 miles of the Teviot Post Omce for one calendar month prior to the races. IV. All disputes arising out of the racing to be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint. V. Any person entering a protest must lodge £1 Is., to be forfeited to the Eace Fund if such protest be deemed frivolous or ungrounded. VI. All jockeys to ride in colors. Any jockey coming to the scales or riding in wrong colors to be nned JBlls, VII. All entries, name, and age of horses, and colors of the riders to be sent to the Secretary not later than 8 o'clock on the 24th Inst., at the Commercial Hotel, Eoxburgh, as no entries will be received after that hour on any pretence whatever.
