Wellington, December 4. More liberal arrangements regarding nominated immigrants are to be gazetted in a few days. The. cash payments in advance are to be reduced from L 6 to L 4, and the balance spread over a reasonable time if desirable. Tbe Court of Appeal gave judgment in several cases to-day. fa Macandrew v. M'Lean and another, judgment was given for the appellants. Mr Ollivier, for the respondents, applied for leave to appeal to the Privy Council. The Court did not refuse the application, but gave instructions that the order for leave to appeal should not be drawn up %\\\ aja affidavit had been filed with the Registrar that the subject matter involved exceeded L 950.
