November 11. • THe B.s. Wallabi, from the Bluff, arrived last evening and passed up to Dunedin. ' The 3.8. Rangatira is to be taken out of the Floating Dock to-morrow. ' •" . To-day was observed as a close holiday at the Fort, the various places of business-being closed; the shipping in harbor,', and the several flagstaffs on shorn were, decorated with bunting. Geeloag proceeded to the barque to tow her in. A fore-and-aft schooner, supposed to be the Jessie, from the Bluff, arrived this forenoon, and continued her course to Duuediu. A brig was observed to be at anchor at the Heads this morning, which on bsing signalled proved to be the Yiska, from i"'oo-Chow-Foo. November 14. The ketch Huon Belle sailed for the Bluff at 2 p.m. to-day. 'Like s.B. Fticeba was to-day taken out of the Graving Dock. There was.no appearance of the Wellington at 4 18 p. m. to-day. The s.s. Tararua sailed at 4 a.m , and arrived at Oaraaru at 8 o'clock this norning. The brig Zieka, from Foo-Chow-Foo, was last eveningct-iwed from the Heads to a discharging berth, by the Bteam-tug Geelong. The Wallabi sailed yesterday afternoon for the Southern Ports ; . the s.s. Rangatira for Lyttelton at 6. 3D p.m. last evening. / The birque Velocidade which arrived in harbor on the 10th inst., left Boston Biy on the 19 th July, and experienced moderate weather and head winds to the equator, which was crossed on the 23rd August, in 29deg. 18min. Ihe Velouidaie took the first cargo of wool from lyttelton lor Boston direct, sailing on Marca November 15. The s.s. Phoebe not having steam up, was this afternoon towed from the Graving D ck to the Bhip Otago by the ps. Golden Age against a strong N.E. wind aud flood tide. The p. s. Samson, Captain Hart, sailed for Oamaru last evening, with a large cargo and nine passengers, and arrived at Oamaru this morning at three o'clock. The p.s. Claud Hamilton, for Melbourne via the Bluff, sailed at 540 last evening with forty-two passengers, and arrived at the Blnff to-day at 8 20 a.m. The b.B. Wellington arrived from Lyttel ton last evening, with a large number of passengers and the English mails ex Nebraska, which were shortly after arrival conveyed to Dunedin by the p.s. Peninsula. Th& passenger list includes the bishop of Dunedin, Mrs Nevill, and child, the Uev. Mr and Mrs Smith, the Rev. Mr and Mrs Penny and family ; also 50 of Mr Brogden's navvies, transhipped from the ship Lady Jocelyn at Lyttelton. Tbe Wellington, after landing 22 horses, sailed for the Bluff at 10 p.m , with 65 passengers (inclusive of M> Brogden's navvies) and the Southern mails, arriving at the Bluff at 11.40 today. The American mail steamship Nebraska, from Lyttelton, arrived at the moorings ac Deborah Bay at 8 this morning. The s.s Wellington, Captain Carey, left the Bluff at 5 last evening, experienced fine weather and light north-east breezes, and arrived at 8 a.m to-day. The s.s. Storm Bird left the Bluff at 7 last evening, experienced light winds and arrived to day at 1 p.m. The Sto^m Bird brings no intelligence of the reported mishap to the Wallabi at luvercargill yesterday. Captain Fraser not hearing of the reported accident until bis arriyal ac Port Chalmers to-day.
