Capstick and Philp, will be competed for— , For the best Clydesdale Horse (any age) - - Ist prize £10 0 0 Do. dp. 2nd do. 6 0 0 Do. do. 3rd do Hon. Oer. For the best Thoroagh-bred r - Horse (any age) - Ist prise £5 0 0 r Do. do. 2nd do. 210 0 Do. do. 3rd do. Hon. Cer. k Judges to be chosen by the Takornairiro Farmers' Club. Entrance to be made on or before 10 [ q'clock a.m- on the day of the Show, at i the office of R. W. Capstick. Entrance Fees to Walk mo Show — 10s each for Clydesdale Horses, and 5s < each for Thorough-bred, &c. Intending Exhibitors please forward particulars. RW. Nana is by King J,phn "(a high-caste Arab, imported to Victoria by Colonel Robins) out of Brilliant by Lucifer, out of St. Ledger by Reubens, o\it of an Emancipist mate by Emancipation. Also, a number of Draught Horses will be offered for sale. Particulars in future advertisement. Intending sellers will kindly forward particulars to the Auctioneer on as early a date as possible, so as to enable him to advertise same. On Account of Mr. Thomas Parker — The pure-bred " Clydesdale Entire Horse " Wombleton Squire," rising 3nears old. Wombleton Squire is a bright dapple bay horse with blaok legs, got by Marquis out of Maggie, imported by G. Bookless, Esq., from Tasmania, Maggie, got by Sir Colin Ca.mpbe.ll, imported from Scotland by J, Rpss, Esq., near Carrick, Tasmania. Wombleton Squire took first prize as a yearling, at Tokomairiro, 1870 ; also first prize as a 2-year old, at Tokomairiro, 1871, against all competitors. On account of Mr Thomas Clegg— The thorough-bred Entire 'Horse " Young Colonel," rising 5-year old, Young Colonel is a bright chesnut, standing 16£ hands high, a sure foal getter^ has good action, clean bone, in fact, a very superior horse. On acconnt of Messrs A. M'Laren and Co. ' " ' " The well-known Pure Bred Clydesdale Entire Horse " Young Emperor," rising 5-year pld. Young Emperor is a bright b,ay with black legs, got by Emperor out *of Mr James Paterson's famed imported mare Kate. Young Emperor took the first prize as a yearling at the Molyneux Agricultural Show, 1868. On account of William BJaclc, Esq. The far-famed Entire Draught Horse ' Major, unequalled in New' Zealand for heavy single horse work in tip dray, heavy van, or single horse road dray. His progeny has turned out remarkably well in this district, and has proved himself a Bure foal getter. TO CONTRACTORS, WAGGONERS, AND OTHERS. On Account of Messrs. Blues & Duthie — • Q First- class Heavy Draught Horses viz., 2 Grey Geldings, Btaunoh both in shaft and harness ; 2 ( Roans. 1 gelding and 1 mare, staunch both in shaft and harness;' 1 'Ohesnut "Horse, do. do. ; 2 Bay Colts, been used to plough, only 3 year old ; 1 Grey Colt (unbroken).
