FORMATION OF NEW GOVERNMENT.

[The following was published by us as an extra on Monday last : — ] Wellington, September 10.
Stafford called a meeting of his supporters yesterday afternoon, and announced success in forming a Government, as follows :— Stafford, Premier and Native and Defence Minister; Waterhouse, Colonial Secretary ; Gillies, Treasurer ; Reid, Public Works ; Fitzherbert, Land and Immigration ; Curtis, Customs and Postal.
House meets this afternoon. The New Government powerful.
