STOCK REPORT.

Messrs Wright, Stephexsok, & Co. report, for the week ending 20th July, as follows :—: — Fat Cattle. — The supply was unusually large, and all of ordinary quality. 43 head were disposed of, of which we sold 16 head at from £4 to £5 10s for cows, and £5 10s to £6 for bullocks. We quote prime quality, 20s per 1001 b ; middling do, 17s. Fat Sheep. — The arrivals continue very small. 200 merino wethers, good quality, were penned, which we sold at from 14s 9d to 15s 3d. We also sold privately 400 merino wethers, fair quality, at 12s. We quote prime mutton 3£ to 3£ per lb. Store Cattle and Store Sheep. — No transactions. Horses. — Good heavy draughts aud upstanding light harness horses are still in fair request. On Thursday, the 18 inst., we sold on account of Messrs Proudfoot. Oliver and Ulph, 15 heavy draught mares and geldings, at from £23 to £56. We quote first-class draughts, £45 to £55 ; medium ditto, £24 to £33 ; good hacks and light harness h< ries, £]1 to £25; medium do, £10 to £12 ; light and inferior, £3 to £6. Wool, Sheepskins, &c. — Two sales have been held this week. At our sale on Friday we disposed of about 1000 sheepskins' at from Is Bd' to 3s 6d each ; tallow, at J from £23 to £34 per ton. Grain. — We have no change to note in values. Good samples of wheat are saleable at from 5s 6d par bushel ; oats, milling, Is lid to 2s ; feed Is 8d to Is lOd per bushel ; barley, very little offering ; maltting, worth 5s 6d per bushel.
