JUSTICE TO WAIPORT.

Sir, — I notice in your reports of the quantities of gold sent down by escort that the Waipori return is invariably incorrect — that place never being credited with the actual amount of gold sent from it. You would much oblige by explaining how this is. — I am, &c. La.mmeh.law.
[For the information of our correspondent, we may state that the amount of gold purchased in Waipori by one of the banks L-j included in the Tuapeka escort. — Ed.J .
