INTERIM NO. 2 REPORT.
In re petition of forty-six miners and
residents at Moa Flat.
Your Committee have to report the careful consideration of the above petition, which prays that all auriferous land may be excluded from sale; .and also to secure facilities for transit of water races, &c,, by them, and having taken evidence, recommend that all land south of the Benger Burn be reserved for mining purposes.—Thomas L. Shepherd, Chairman.
