RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT ROXBURGH.

(Before J. B. Borton, Esq., R.M.) Tuesday, 30th April. Richardson v. Kitching. Mr Neville appeared for plaintiff. This was a rehearing. Richardson sought to recover the sum of £5 for work done, to wit, putting up rails round sheep yard. Mr. Kitching pleaded not indebted, alleging that the fence was not erected in a workmanlike manner. Judgment for plaintiff for £3 7s, and costs of Court. Wednesday Bth May. M'Pherson v. Stridthcrs. — Claim £13 123, for "nobblers." Mr. Neville appeared for plaintiff. Verdict for plaintiff for £7 os, and costs of Court. Tubman v. Dalbun. In this case the plaintiff asked for an adjournment till the 15th, for the purpose of procuring counsel, which was granted. Mr. Neville appeared for defendant.
