NOTICE. TJAVLNG been appointed as Registration and Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Wakaia, in the place of Chas. Rous Marten, resigned, persons wishing to Register their Votes must forward their applications to my office, Switaers, on or before the 31st day of March instant. Persons who have sent claims to have their names placed on the Electoral Roll for the District of Wakaia, addressed to Mr. Marten, as private letters, should forward duplicates to Switzers. PERSONS entitled to Depasture Stock -*- on the Tuapeka, Waitahuna, and Waipori Goldfields Commonage, must make application to the Revenue Receiver, Lawrence, on or before the 31st instant, stating the number and description of stock, their brands, and also the locality in which it is intended to depasture them. Legal proceedings wijl be taken against all persons found depasturing stock without the necessary License to do so within the Qolt^fields Commonage, and all persons depasturing, stock in excess of their License, will b,a proceeded against without further notice.
