This Company has been formed for the purpose of working the Flat opposite the Lower Township, Nokomai. It has already obtained an ci tended claim, and has also applied to the Superintendent for a special grant, which has been recommended by the Warden. The ground is believed to be highly auriferous, and it is:the opinion of all the miners in the district that there must be heavy deposits of gold in the Flat, as., independent of the run of gold in the Nokomai, the runs on many or all of the rich spurs and gullies in tbe neighbourhood of the Township' have been traced into ground now intended to be worked by this Company.
