STOCK REPORT,

Mr. R, W, Capstick, Tokomairiro, reports for the week ending 15th inst,, having placed 1800- orosa-bred lambs at 6s ; 1100 Merino ewes, and 200 Merino wethers, /all mouthed, in one lot, at 4s ; 1300 Merino ewes, from 6-taoth to full mouthed, at 3s 6d each. Cattle. — No sales to report. Horses. No demand. Sellers plenti-

ful. Wool. — Saturday's public sale, half* bred, in grease, Is 2£d per lb ; Merino, do. Is 2d, do; locks, from 4d to 7d do; pieces, do. 10d to 11 |d do ; black wool, Merino, Is do.

Ham Sale. — At the first Anuual Ram Sale, held on Tuesday 12th inst,, sold, on account of Mr. George Nichol — 22 three-quarter bred ewes, at 11s eaoh; and 9 Leicester rams, from £1 to £2 ss, each. John Hislop, 18 lambs, 12s 6d eaoh. WiLliara Allison -17 Leicester rams, to Mr. John M'Lean, Bellamy Station, at £3 each ; and 2 do. at £1 sa. Mr. Dalgleish's 15 ewe lambs were purchased by Macpherson Bros., Lower Waipori, for £23; and his 12 rams were bought by Mr. J. M'Lean at £2 15s each. David Cor* sau's 20 Leicester ewe lambs realised 32a and 24 do. at 30s, and were purchased by Mr. C. Faulkner, Waihola, James Sutherland's -6 ewe lambs were bought by Mr. P. M'Gill for 26s each ; 7 do. by Messrs. Macpherson, for £1 12s 6d each ; and 9 ram lambs, by Mr. G. Matheson, Tuapeka, for £1 18s 6d, David Thomson's 8 Leicester ram lambs were bought by Mr. \V. Miller for £1 15 a each. Mr. Wm. Grey sold 1 Ijeicester ram to Mr. F. Wayne at £12; 7 Leicester ram lambs to John M'Laren, at £1 12s 6d each ; 3 Leicester ram lambs, to Macpherson Bros., at £3 7s 6d each ; and two do. at £1 10s each. Mr. A Mollison's6 Leicester ram lambs were bought by Mr. J. M'Lean at 20a each. Mr. Thos, Murray exhibited a very superior lot cf Leicester ram lambs, which were sold to the following gentlemen .at the- prices named : — Mr. Jas. Smith, Nos. 1. 4. 11. aud 13, at £5 15s, 1-5 ss, L 5 ss, L 5 ss ; Mr. W. Miller* No. 2, L7 los; Mr. W. A. Murray, Nets. 3 and 8, L 5 ss, L 7 ; Mr. M. Bale, Nos. 5. 9. and 12, L 8 10s each ; Mr, Dalgleish, No. 6, L 7; Mr. Wm. Allison, No. 7, L 6 ; Mr. Jas. Sutherland, No- 10, L 5. Leicester rams, aged, realised from'Ls to L 8 12^ 6d ; inferior do, from tls to L3 l2a 6d. Mr. John Seed's 4 ram lamba were sold at L 2 each Mr. Galbraith, purchaser, Mr, W. Gordon's 4 Leicester rams fetched from Lj. 10s to L3 los. T^ere were also a number shown by Messrs. Dale, Black, Wayne, and Dalgieiau, of which a few were put up for sale, bnt were vrith.dra.wn. Mr. Tho». Murray's 100 Merino atore wethers w«i» sold at 3s each.
