RESIDENT MAGISTRATES COURT, LAWRENCE.
(Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., R.M.) Fhiday, Ist March.
A. and J. Long v. Peters. — Claim for £41 ss. This case had been adjourned from the previous Monday, in order to give the parties an opportunity of settling the matter out of Court. Mr. Copland, who appeared for the plaintiffs, said that every endeavour had been made to settle the matter, but without success, and the case was therefore in the hands of theyMa^istrate. His Worship said he had arrived at the conclusion that defendant had borrowed the money from the plaintiffs, and consequently gave judgment for the amount, with costs. Under the circumstances, he would not allow i i. •>>><.<-! iato execution. Payments were ordered to be made as fellows :— £s 53. to be paid on the Ist of Aprils tuo balance in three equal instalments at three, six, and twelve months. He would, allow no professional costs.
