WASTE LANDS BOARD.

The usual weekly meeting of the Waste Land Board was held on Wednesday last. ' ." '* T,ne" B^oard approved of the,resolution of. the Executive Council to offer a lease of run 257 for sale by auction for a term of 10 years, to Commence on expiry 1 of original license, and io be |ermiriable at' any time without compensation,' oii twelve months' notice by either party. ' Mr Shrimski, Government auctioneer for the Oamaru district, wrote claiming commission on all Goveruinent land'sold uiihin that district.
