JBask, on tlie Tuapeka Biver, near its head. Terms for which lease required — Fifteen years. Time of commencing operations — Immediately on application being granted. The above application, and any objections thereto, will be heard before the Warden, at Lawrence, on the Gth day of March, 1872. Any person desiring to object to the granting of a mining lease upon the said application, must, within 22 clear days from the date of the said application, lodge his objections at my office. W. L. IN Conformity to the 29th Section of the " Gold Fields A*ct 1866," and to the Regulations made under that Act and the Golds Fields P ets Amendment Acts of 18G7, 1868, and 1869, for the granting of leases for gold mining purposes within the Province of Otago, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease. for gold mining purposes of Crown Lands to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against granting such lease. Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing and lodged with the Warden at Lawrence, on or beforo the 21st day of Febrnai-y, 1872.
