TO TRAVEL THIS SEASON, IN THE TUAPEKA AND WAITAHUNA DISTRICTS, bred WB*o |V*TjljP horse, CLYDESDALE. Clydesdale is rising 7 years old, stands 16£ hands high, and is a beautiful dapple bay, with black points ; is of immense strength of bone, has fine symmetry of form, and superior action, and has proved himself a sure foal-getter. His stock is well known in the Clutha District, having travelled that district four years ago. His sire, the well-known horse Napoleon, imported from Scotland by John Nimmo, Esq., West Taieri, gained many first prizes in Scotland, Otago, and Canterbury. His pedigree is so well known as to need no comment, His dam, Rose, out of an-imported mare, by the far-famed horse Black Leg. A colt from the same dam as Clydesdale was sold at Mosgiel Sale Yards in October, 1871, for L3OO. TERMS, L 3, payable on or before Ist February, 1872 ; after that date LI extra will be charged.
