WETHERSTONE'S SCHOOL EXAMINATION.
On Thursday last the examination of the Wetherstone's School took place in presence of the parents and members of Committee, who also assisted in the examination. There was "a larger attendance of children than usual, and the examination passed off very satisfactorily.

Hart, Highest number of Marks aud General Answering. 2nd. Class. — J. Scott, Ist. Reading and Spelling. Henry Mooney, Ist. Arithmetic and Spelling. E. Hart, Ist. Grammar. Arthur Carr, Geography. E. Gare, Writing, John Pearson and James Lyons. General Answering. 3rd. Class — J. Abrim, Ist. Grammar. E. Silk, Reading. R. Abrim, Spelling. C. Gare, Writing. A. Pearson, Arithmetic, "E. Carr and G. Riddle, equal in Spelling and Arithmetic. F. Pergere, General Answering. Plain Sewing, T. Hart., Ist. C. Murray, 2nd. Fancy Work, R. Hart. Ist. E. Gare and Jane Abrim, equ i. The other children got a gift of a book each according to merit.
