Wednesday., Dec 13. (Before His Honor Judge Gray.) IN BANKRUPTCY. he Henry Bluff and J. Richardson. — Mr. M'Coy appeared for bankrupts. There being no opposing creditors, the cases were adjourned for final adjudication. B 4 Isaac Butievfielcl. — Mr. M'Coy appeared for bankrupt, and Mr. Gooday appeared on behalf of Messrs. Lange and Thoneman, Dunediu. The case was adjourned. R<i W. Cotter.— Mr. Gooday applied for bankrupt's final discharge. Bankrupt was examined by the agent for the Provisional Ti'nske, hut nothing of consequeme elicited. Discharge granted. -^ t Re Matthew Ha/.— Mr. Goola'y fprl bankrupt. Mr. M'Coy on behalf of* Messrs. Herbert & Co. Case adjourned. Friday, Dec. 15. Re Matthew Hay — Deed of Arrangement. — Application was madi by Mr. G.jod-iy to the Court to have the deed declared completely executed. Mr, McCoy opposed, on behalf of a creditor, and examined the ' arranging debtor closely as to the nature of his debts, and the disposal of his property. The answers w ;re satisfactory, and His Honor said that he hud much pleasure in deolaring the d«ed fully executed. APPEALS. . "Tuesday, 12th Dec. Gillies v. Wilson.— This was an appeal from the Warden's decision in a case which was heard at Waitahuna some time ** ago, about marking claims at Cauada Reef. The judgment of the Warden was confirmed. Thursday, jWmh r>o« Higgins v. Dyer. — This was an appeal from the decision of the Warden., We gave the evidence in full in a former issue. The former evidence was again brought before the Court. Judgment has not been given as yet. i Mr. M'Coy for plaintiff, and Mr. Taylor for defendant. Saturday, 16th Dec. Casey Brothers v. Mowison & party and Niclwl (& party. —This was also an appeal from the decision of the Warden. The evidence in full was given in a former issue. The decision, of the Warden was to the effect that he would allow Casey Brothers only from Lls to L2O to make another tail race, equal in all respects to - the one injured. The name evidence was brought before His Honour as brought before the Warden. His Honour allowed plaintiffs LI 3O damages, and expenses. Mr. Copland for plaintiffs, and Mr. Gooday for defendant.
