Saturday, 2nd December, 1871.
Police v. Kelly. — Kelly was charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place at Tapanui, on 4th ult. Fined 10s.
Police v. Stewart. — Chai'ge of killing one head of cattle without giving due notice, contrary to the 13th section of the Slaughterhouse Ordinance. Fined £5 and costs.
A. M'Kenzie, J. Aitken, and P. Scott were charged with not registering their dogs. The Magistrate fined each 40s. and costs.
2?otfcfi v. Aitktn. — Claim, £9 7s. 4d. Verdict for amount claimed, and costs.
MMillan v. Raven.— Claim, £2 los., for hoard and • lodging. Verdict by default for amount claimed, and costs.
Ilaloney v-. JPraser. — Claim, £5. Amount paid into court.
Stewart v. Norman. — Claim, £11 17s. 9d. Verdict by default for amount claimed, and costs.
Stewart and Goto v.Jachson. — Claim, £12 15s. 3d., for goods. Verdict for amount, with costs.
