Towton (own brother to the Peer) by Melbourne ; dam, Cinizelli, by Touchstone (vide English Stud Book) imported into New Zealand in 1858. Marchioness, an own sister to Towton, and dam of Fishook, won the Oaks in 1855 ; and the Marquis, a son of Cinizelli, by Stockwell, won the Two Thousand Guineas in 1862, ran second for' the Derbj- (for which he was first favourite) and won the St. Leger.
