The policy of the Government with reference to Fiji, it is rumoured, baa not yet been finally settled. There is a enquiry for wool, and a fair business has been done nt full fates, November 2nd. Mr. Verdon baa been appointed Inspector of the English and Scottish Bank. A Royal wan-ant has been gazetted for the reconstruction of the army. The cholera has ceased at Constantinople. The Ereneh elections show the following results : — Bonapartistf, 94 ; Legitimists, 194 ; Radicals, 291 ; Moderate Republicans. 494 ; and Conservatives, 867.
