A MEETING of those willing to become members of the Tuapeka Cricket Club will be held in the Commercial Hotel on Saturday evening next, the 30th instant, for the purpose of appointing Captain and other office bearers, &c, TUAPEKA ATIIEN.EUM. mHE Annual Meeting of Subscribers to the above Institution will be held in the Hall on Friday, the 6th October, at 8 o'clock, when the Annual Peport and Balance Sheet will be read, and a new Committee elected. VVhitmore Isifct in the Lawrence Church, on the occasion of the anniversary of the above School. Morning service at eleven o'clock ; evening service at halfpast six o'clock. Mr. Isitt will address the parents and children of the school in the afternoon at half -past two o'clock. A Tea and Public Meeting in connection with the Anniversary of the School will take place on Tuesday, October 3rd. Tea on the table at half-past six o'clock. TICKETS, 2s. 6d. each. After tea,, the Public Meeting will commence, when addresses are expected to be delivered by the Revs. Dr. Copland, J. Menziea, W. H. Beck, F. Whitmore Isitt, H. Bull, and Mr. Paul Ah Chin. Collections will be made in aid of the School Funds.
