In answer to Mr. J. C. Brown, the G-overnment stated that the survey of the 5000-acre block at Moa Flat was incomplete, but as soon as it was finished the land would be brought into the market. It was necessary, however, to reserve a portion, so as not to interfere with the profitable working of the run. The same remarks apply to the Millers Flat Block. The news from Melbourne is unimportant. Breadstuffs are firmer ; flour, £16 10s. to £16 155. ; New Zealand wheat — medium, 6d. 2d. ; do. oats, improving, at 3g. 7d.
