Oats — 2s 4d to 2s 6d per bushel. Butter— 7d to9d perlb. Cheese— 6d to 8d per lb. Bacon and Hams— 9d per lb. Messrs. Wright, Stepheeson and Co. report for the week ending 3rd June, as follows :—: — Fat Cattle.— About GO head, mostly good quality, were yarded, of which we sold 38 head. We quote prime quality 20s. per lOOlbs. ; middling do., 17s. 6d. Fat Sheep. — There were only 400 penned, and these of very inferior quality, which we sold at ss. 9d. each. Dairy cows brought from Ij3 to L 9 ICs. ; steers, 18 months to 2 yjars old, L 3 ; heifers, do, L 4 ; yearlings, L 2 ss. ; calves, 20&. ; draught horses, LOO to LSO ; liyht horses, L 8 to I Lll ; implements, at satisfactory prices. I Grain. — Wheat continues in good demand, good samples commanding ss. 9d. per bushel. Oats neglected, sales being confined to local wants.
