[The following was published by us an an Extra on Monday last : — ] Nelson, May 7. The Nevada made a splendid passage of fifteen days. Left San Francisco on the Bth of April and arrived at Honolulu on the IGth, where she left on the 18th, experiencing fine weather till the 30th, since which time she encountered fresh gales, arriving at Auckland at noon on Saturday. The greatest distance run in 24 hours was 284 miles. London, April Bth. New Zealand Loan negotiated, £1,200,000, first instalment. Revolutions in Paris continue. The Communists have instituted a reign of terror. The guillotine has again been erected and all respectable persous have left Paris. One hundred and sixty thousand departed in ten days. There has been heavy fighting with the Loyalists. Many thousands killed. The Prussians are moving on Paris. Bismark intends bombarding the city unless order is restored. Napoleon arrived at Dover on the 20th of March, and visited the Royal family. On the 27th the Princess of Wales gave birth to a boy ; the child died the following day.
