M'Alpine to sell by public auction, Am the above date, at 1 o'clock, Q£ HEAD OF CATTLE, con&O eisting of cows and calves at foot ; 7 cows in full milk, with calves at foot; 5 two-year-old heifers ; 3 cows heavy in calf ; 1 short-horned bull. Also, 1 Saddle Horse, and 1 Heavy Draught Colt. The only reason Mr. M'Alpine has for disposing of the above cattle is that he intends to give up dairy farming. This will be a good opportunity for obtaining first-class quiet dairy cows, which are all well known in the district as being capital milkers.
