The c '■ Tv T it!ic? s " of Saturday reports

The weather of the past w^ek h.is exercised some influence upon the business of Ihe produce market, and in co*i?equenc<3 of growers, many of whom have been surprised by the late fogs and vain, being occupied in .netting in grain, It-bs afteulim has bei give 1 to making sales, and town trade has appeired smill. There has been a fair enquiry for whe.-its, p-nd sluihtiy better rates are obt unable for good p-.ireols. Both new and old may now l'o considered of equal value, and 4s. (0 4s. 3cl. is quoted as prices for recoufc sa'es. Oais have not improwd in a corresponding degree, and in consequence of the lower rales current in aorthorn ports nearly all the operations of any muniOiU going on have be u n confined to tiiirc placos. Tho current value for lo!-s of new oats is 2s. 3.1., but parcels of 01.l of good quality are still worth, or nearly so, our reuent quotation of QOtk - A good enquiry exists for good nTrr&ing birley,, but so little has as yet reached tiie nnti'kCf that -no business can be reported, vaiiv ab ut os. to 3s. 3J. for inferior, nnd fee ling barley no demand. An improved enquiry for fioiiv is noted at the Mills, the current rote is still Lll to LIL 10«. In '.iro-i isions there is a moderate business doing. Choes^ (Northern) is still v.ry much overstocked ; but s'lipment-- of butter are worth an improved ra*e, viz , Bd. to Sid., and any good lots of hams and bacon coming to hand command ready sale.
