We beg to notify our intention to hold periodical sales by auction of WOOL, SHEEPSKINS, HIDES, TALLOW, AND OTHER PRODUCE, during the i season, at our temporary premises, Walker-street. ALL WOOL, OR OTHER PRODUCE, will, while in our Stores, be protected by FIRE INSURANCE, at LOWEST BATES. The well known experience of our Mr. Lanseigne, anu his practical acquaintance with this class of business, afford the best guarantee that the interests of our constituents will be thoroughly attended to. WE beg to intimate that we are now prepaied to MAKE ADVANCES on the incoming clip of WOOL, or consignment of FLAX, either for sale here or for shipment to London. Throughout the season we shall hold PERIODICAL SALES of these staples, also of Sheepskins, Hides, and Tallow, all of which, from the extent and arrangement of our premises, we are enabled to place before buyers to advantage, thebest All Wool, Flax, or other produce, while in our Stores will be covered by Insurance, unless we are specially instructed to the contrary. Clips sent in for sale, and for which satisfactory prices may not be obtainable, will be subject to a TOTAL CHARGE of only ONE SHILLING PER BALE, to cover Receiving, Weighing, Cataloguing for Sale, Insurance whilst in store, and Delivery. Woolgrowers are recommended to mark and number their Bales on each end, in addition to the usual mai"k on the side. Our PRICE LISTS of Otago and Southland Wools sold in London will, on application, be forwarded to any of our tfriends who do not at present receive them. The SALE of Fat and Store Stock, Station Property, &c, will, as hitherto, continue to receive our most careful personal attention. FLAX, GRAIN, WOOL, AND OTHER COLONIAL PRODUCE, WE beg to intimate that we have entered into arrangements with Mr. John Reid, of the Phoenix Warehouse, Hope-street, to receive and store all Flax, Grain, Wool, and other Colonial Produce, sent to our consignment for sale or shipment. FLAX. Our periodical sales of Flax will in future be held at Mr John Reid's Warehouse, Hope-street, where arrangements of the most complete character have been made for pressing, storing, and exposing for sale. GRAIN. We are prepared to receive, store, and sell privately, or by auction, all Grain sent to our care. WOOL. The attention of Wool growers is specially invited to the arrangements made for showing to the best advantage Wool entrusted to us for sale. Liberal advances made on all Flax, Grain, Wool, and other Colonial Produce placed in our hands for sale or shipment. The interest of our constituents at all times covered by policies of insurance.
