"AJAX" AND "FAIR PLAY."
(To the, Editor)
Sir, — Your issue of 2nd inst., contains a letter from Switzers, signed " Fair Play." The assertion therein that four of the old school committee were re-elected, (instead of two, as mentioned in my former letter) is true; the fact being that 1 was unaware at the moment of writing that the other two had been members of the former committee. I should be most unwilling to mislead your readers, and am glad to be set right.
The remainder of the column and a half of "Fair PlayV letter is unworthy of a reply, even from the gentleman whom it attempts to malign. jSuch a style of correspondence degrades the writer, but not him that is $he subject of it, — I am, &c, Ajtax.
