Nominations, with 2 guineas enclosed, to be received by the Secretary up to 10 o'clock p f m. on Tuesday, the 10th day of January. Weights, to be declared in the "Tuapeka Times" of 12th January, and in the "Daily Times " of 14th January. Acceptances, with 2 guinpas, together with sweepstake of 2 guineas, to be received by the Secretary before 10 o'clock p.m. on Monday, January 16, IS7I. Distance; 2 miles. The winner to be sold by public auction for £20 ; The surplus (if any) to go to the Race Fund. SECOND DAY. PUBLICANS' HANDICAP, of 30 soys; distance, 1 mile. Nominations, with 2 guineas entrance fee, to be received up to 9 o'clock p.m. on Thursday, 19th Jamiary. TOWN PLATE, of 75 soys. ; entrance, 4 guineas ; distance, two and a half miles ; weight for age. HANDICAP HURDLE RACE, of 40 bo vs. ; distance, two and a half miles ; over nine flight of hurdles, three and a half feet high ; entrance, 2 guineas. FLYING HANDICAP of 50 soys. Nominations, with one guinea enclosed, to be received by the Secretary up to 10 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, January 10th. Weights to be declared in the "Tuapeka Times" of the 12th, and in the " Daily Times " of January 14th. Acceptances, with 2 guineas, to be received by the Secretary up to 9 o'clock p.m. on Thursday, January 19th. Distance, one and a half mile. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, of 15 soys. ; for all beaten horses ; distance, one and a half mile; entrance, 1 soy. EULES AND EEGULATIONS. Mares and Geldings allowed 31b. All disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whoever they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the Programme thall be final. No person shall be allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in this Programme (post entry races excepted) unless the latter be qualified as the bona fide property of a subscriber to the Race Fund pf not less than two guineas. Entries to be received by the Secretary, at his office, Peel-street, Lawrence, up to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, 18th January. Entrance money, enclosed with name, age, and pedigree (if any) of the horse, and name of owner and colours, of the rider. Any Jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined £2. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes, for expenses. Hcrses walking over will receive 00 per pent, of the stakes. The Tuapeka Jockey Club Rules will be strictly enforced. Parties entering protests will require to deposit one guinea.
