MATRITMONY.

(To the Editor.)

Sir, — 1 hardly know sufficiently strong language in which to address you for the shameful use you have made of mv letter in answer to the

advertisement of the two swains desiring matrimonial comforts ; and as you have thought proper to publish it, I don't care if you put this in the paper also. "But you may as well recollect that I said in my last letter I could wield a three-legged stool when provoked to do so — so just look out for yourself; and I'm much mistaken if you don't get the worst of it, as though only one of the weakest sex, I shall take the earliest opportunity to assert the prerogative of woman's rigths in the present age, and defend myself. I believe your, advertisement is only a sham, and could cry my eyes out for vexation when I think of the hoax you have led me into, you abominable man. — I am, &c,

Flora M'Donald.

P.S. — If the advertisement is not a hoax, you can tell the advertisers that I am not on now, as I have met my real fate since writing my first letter. — F. MD.
