Entire Horses. HEATHER JOCK, (Late Bising Star), WILL Travel this season in the Districts of Moa Flat and Mount Benger. Heather Jock is a beautiful dark bay horse, 17 hands high, of immense bone, fine symmetry, and superior action ; was got by the far-famed horse Reformer, imported by C. Rossiter, Esq., Cranbourne, and out of the celebrated mare, Flora, the property of J. Johnstone, Esq., Whitlesea, Victoria. Heather Jock has taken first and second prizes as a colt of 1, 2, and 3 years old in Victoria. Wire, Reformer, who gained the Highland Society's first prize at Perth in 3852 ; as a yearling in 1856, at Melbourne, the Port Philip Farmer's Society's first prize, beating Clyde (Mr. J. Wilson's) and four other imported sires ; in 1857, at Melbourne, the Port Philip Farmer's Society's first prize, beating Clyde and 25 others ; at the same meeting won the champion cup, value £30, as the most perfect animal exhibited. He has also taken a number of local prizes, and his stock have been successful as prize takers. Dam, Flora, got by the renowned horse Prince Charlie, imported by the Messrs. M'lntosh, Glenroy, out of a pure- bred V.D.L. mare bred by R. Q. Kermode, Mona Vale. Flora took first prize at Whitlesea two years in succesion ; Ist at Kilmore, and 2nd at Heidelberg in 1861. Young Abdallah is out of a thoroughbred mare, imported from Tasmauia by John Weir, Esq., of the Western District, Victoria ; is 7 years old, and has proved himself a sure foal getter. JtLe has left some of the most promising stock in the province at the Clutha District. Abdallah (bred by Mr. Batson in 1847) was got by The Provost, out of Barbara ; Barbara was by Plenipotentiary out of Saffi, who was got by a son of Dick Andrews' (Dick Andrews was by Joe Andrews, a son of Eclipse). The dam of Sdtfi. was got by Totteridge (Totteridge was by Dungannon, a son of Eclipse), out of sister to Mariamp, by Squirrel, out of Miss Meredith, by Cade (son of the Godolphin Arabian), out of the Little Hartley Mare. The Little Hartley Mare was by Barlet's Childers (own brother to FJying Childera), out of Large Hartley Mare, whose pedigree in three generations can be traced to a royal mare. The Provost, the sire of Abdallah, was by The Saddler, out of Rebecca, by Lottery; her dam by Cervantes, out of Anticipation ; mare of her dam. by Beningbrook (Beningbrook by King Fergus, a son of Eclipse. A 300 acre English grass paddock provided for mares, without responsibility, free for one week, after which 2s. 6d. per week will be charged ; or the option of a natural grass paddock free of charge. He is a light bay, rising three years old, is perfectly quiet, has fine action, superior bone, and great muscular , power, and took the first prize at the Toko- i mairiro Show as a yearling. Emperor, the sir& of Young Emperor, 1 ; is out of Nancy, bred by Alexander Find- j lay, Esq., Sandyhills, near Glasgow, '■ Nancy was got by the celebrated Garvary ! Horse, and her d|im by Scotsman, th.e> property of James Kirkwoods, Kilmaura. Nancy was first shown as a three year old, and $>bt first prize at Hamilton, first at Bailleston, second at Glasgow, and second at Kilbride. She was next shown as a brood mare at Glasgow and Kilbride, where she received similar honors. His sire is the well known imported hor.->e Napoleon, whose stook is not excellad in the province. Emperor is of great strength, and compactly built. lie has'proved himself a sure foal-getter, and his stock is of a superior description.
