The next wool sales commence on the 27th October. The arrival to date amount to 68,523 bales, and there a~e afloat 35,232 bales. The total quantity for disposal, including wools held over, is expected to reach 210,000 bales. Tho wool sales held yesterday comprised 2040 bales. 7814 bales were withdrawn, owing to the thin attendance.

Sales of Ncav Zealand flax shows a decline for common and medium sorts. G-ood bright parcels are fairly supported at L2l< 10s to LSI. Common and medium are at Ll4 to L2O, and rough at LlO to Ll3.

The total arrivals of wool for the next sales amount to 68,500, of which 16,500 arc from New Zealand
