Sir, — I perceive in your last issue, a letter from the defendant in the above case, commenting in quasi severe language on the report of the case which appeared in your journal. I should be very glad to submit that report to any man that was present, to decide as to its correctness and impartiality; except W. D. Morrison, and if the "report is incorrect, I will willingly pay £5 to the funds of the Tuapeka Hospital as a fine for my laches. — I am, &c, Youit Occasional Correspondent.
