(To the Editor of the Tuapeka Tints.) Sir, — As the report of the case Kiir r. Morrison in the It.M.'s C.mrt requiivs further explanation to placa it j"is>ly before the public, not only t> correct false impressions, but to settle the m ifcter of the moral obligations of the defendant. I wish to ask whether it occurred to the reporter that the witness Bach m received the money (which he v entitled to if he did not), but it' he did receive :b, upon what principle of justice is defendant morally bound to pay a second time to Keir ? Truly, the showing of your reporter in this case is worthy of noric>, and may be applicable to the high stata of morality of this place, where legitimate debts are so easily collected. — I am, Ac., Fair Play.
