LAWRENCE WESLEYAN SABBATH [ SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY. ON behalf of the above, SERMONS will be Preached SUNDAY, 2nd OCTOBKR, 1870, by Rev. W. Keall— in the Morning at 11 o'clock, and in the Evening at half-past 6 o'olock. , There will be a special Public Service in the Afternoon, at half-past 2 o'clock, consisting of Singing, Recitations, aud Bible Lessons. Parents are specially iuvitecl to this service. On Tuesday, 4th October, the Annual Treat will be giveu to the Scholars of the School, at 4 o'clock p.m. At 6.30 there will be a Public Tea in the Wesleyan Church. Tickets, 2s. 6d. each, to be obtained of Messrs. Coverlid, Ciow, Syrett, Twigge, and M'Gilvray. In the Evening a Public Meeting, when addresses may be expected from the Revs. W. Keall, J. Menzies, Mr, Gilbert, and other friends. Collections after each Sabbath service in aid of the School Funds. BLUE SVUii TEMPERANCE SOCIETY. THE Bluo Spur Tomperanoe Society will hold a Meeting in the School on Friday Evening Next, 30th inst. The Rev. W Keal.l is expected to take the Chair. The Revs. Dr. Copland and Menzies, Dr. Halley, and others, are expected to address the meeting. A selection of Temperance songs will be sung. TUAPEKA JOCKEY CLUB.
